Day 8 of 10 of my #ThankYouNotes Challenge

10-Day #ThankYouNotes Challenge to Kill Writer's Block

Ok, I know it’s no excuse but I’ve been so busy travelling. And I forget all about writing when I’m travelling. Oops.

So here goes the 8th entry of my #ThankYouNotes challenge:

First of all, I’m so thankful that my husband has gotten his PR approved, without the help of my parents. I cannot imagine how we had gotten this with minimal hassle, other than that our Father Lord has been watching over us. Thank you Father.

I’m thankful my 90-year-old grandma is as fit as a fiddle and had successful hip surgery. When I visited her at the hospital the other day, just hours before her surgery (she had no idea she was going to have surgery), she kept telling me to pray for her. My devout grandma =) Just thinking of her makes me smile. I’m thankful for how amazingly strong she is. She’s started walking with the help of a walker, just 2 days after her surgery. Mind you, she’s 90 years old. No complains about pain or hard to walk. In fact, she asked the nurse if she could dump the walker and walk on her own. *chuckle* Trust my grandma to do that. I’m so thankful for how the Lord works and blesses my loved ones. I couldn’t ask for more.

I’m so thankful for the great living example of faith and strength in the Lord I have in my grandma. She puts many of us to shame. No kidding. I pray that I would be able to follow in her footsteps, come my time.

I’m thankful for my very supportive and loving pillar – my husband. Thank you for all your valuable input and for just being there. I don’t think I’m easy to live with. Thank you for always wanting to spoil me.

I’m also thankful I have gotten that one proposal off my head and off my hands! It’s been quite the heavy burden – right on top of my head. It’s heavy, trust me.

I’m thankful for a great week that has just passed and a greater one beginning today.
