I love grocery shopping! Sometimes I love it more than shopping for clothes, especially when I don’t see any clothes I like. Then I’ll think that I’ll be better off shopping in the supermarket.
Why? There’s always something to buy! Lol!
We bought a ton at Jusco, 1Utama today. I pick and choose where I buy my groceries, simply because some supermarkets are more expensive than others, some have fresh vegetables while others have fresh meat and even those with fresh meat differ with types of meat : chicken, pork, beef.
As for prawns, I’ve found my sweet spot : the SS2 pasar malam on Mondays! They’re huge and not too expensive. Besides, I love pasar malams!
Funny how in Singapore, we do not find fresh produce at pasar malams. Here in KL/PJ, I get a whole different variety of fresh produce at the pasar malam. Absolutely love it!
After a couple of hours of grocery shopping, I whipped up this Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Bacon. It was yummy!
And we had brownies with vanilla ice cream after! What a sinful meal!
