Too Much To Post, Too Little Time

Isn’t it always the case, to have too much to say or do and simply too little time? Yet, while we often hear people say they wish they had more hours in a day, I really don’t wish for more. I think 24 hours is enough. Unless there’s a clause stating that the extra hours were meant only for family or me time… I guess that would be different. Why do I say that? Coz I can already see how many people would just spend those extra hours in their office or in front of their computer, working away.

As most of you would know, I travel to and fro between Singapore and Malaysia every month. My last trip back was PACKED with stuff to do. From work to leisure to just “sister time”.

I finally made it to Universal Studios Singapore and boy, did I have a great time there! Even the fact that the duelling rollercoasters Battlestar Gallactica were suspended, couldn’t dampen my high spirits! It was my bestie, Angel’s, birthday but she played tour guide anyways.

The Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure was most memorable. I decided to buy ponchos for both of us since A said it was a 50-50 chance we were gonna get soaked. And I was commenting about how it would be funny if we were all decked out in the ponchos and still got wet. Anyhow, we got on the rides, sitting opposite each other and when we got to the part where you could really get soaked, Angel was pointing above me and I just held the poncho tight over my head. Lucky for me and unluckily for Angel, the boat started rolling around and just as the the water comes rushing down on us, a gush of wind rushes upwards, blowing our ponchos off our heads. Angel got totally soaked, even under the poncho. *chuckles* That memory of her wet hair all over her head still cracks me up. So much for being the birthday girl!

This trip also marked the very first time I had dinner with my brother-in-law’s family at their house. His mum began at 8am in the morning & sure cooked a feast! It was heartwarming to be a part of yet another huge family. Check out all that food! Mind you, it’s all homecooked!
