Was running a high fever last night. Took a shower, drank lots of water and tucked me into bed & simply knocked out.
I don’t really know how many hours I slept for but it does seem pretty long.
Woke up to a nice phonecall and to my mum telling me Ruffy can’t get up. *sigh*
I’m not sure what to make of it … I’m pretty sure he can get up … can he?
I trimmed his fur on his paws and hopefully that’ll help … =(
Poking around in my old blogs, and found this prayer I’ve known for the longest time.
The Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr
God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
