Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (PD) Resort Hotel Review

Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (PD) Resort Hotel

One of the many privileges of being the missus of a business owner and the PKL (Pao Ka Liao in hokkien or one-leg-kicking or the do-everything-and-everything) of Activebugs is that I get to go on these familiarization trips. This is our 2nd time at the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson and I still love the hotel for its spaciousness and large rooms.

LexisHibiscus

The Lexis Hibiscus is an iconic resort that features water chalets built in the shape of a hibiscus, Malaysia’s National Flower. So if you’re flying into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or flying out, especially to Singapore, keep a lookout from the plane! You just might be able to spot this resort from the skies!

Watch my short video on the Premium Pool Villa to have a better look! Hahaha, excuse the amateur video! It’s my very 1st vlog! So I’ll keep improving over time!

I was very blessed to be able to stay a night in the Premium Pool Villa. Each of the villas feature 2 large King beds (in the Asian context, they are Super King beds), private pool and steam room. There’s really plenty of room, even for a family or group of 4!

Mr Lawrence Lai, the Front Office Manager, is as hands on as the GM of the hotel, Mr Yeow. So keep a lookout for them around the property! They’re very friendly and hospitable!

My Travels :: Bangkok :: January 2013

After a good 10 years, I have finally set foot on Bangkok soil again. Bangkok is unrecognizable. It has fluorished and is now filled with beautiful shopping centres, no longer just the backlane streets of Pratunam.

Jatuchak is still as before, an experience of its own kind, albeit in a more organized manner. Crowds still throng the small lanes and the even smaller shops. Legs still ache after a whole day there. And most of all, a whole day there still isn’t enough time to finish just walking through all the small alleyways.

While I didn’t like MBK as much as before, I now welcome Platinum Mall with its wholesale prices and ooohhh, I love Central and Siam Center!

Stuck In Transit

It’s been a quick 30 days in KL this round and what better way, in Murphy's eyes, to end this trip than with a severely delayed AirAsia flight.

Departure Time: 10:30pm

Delayed Departure Time: 11.55pm

So once again, I’m stuck in LCCT for a couple of hours. Thank goodness for Lil’ Schatzie!

I lost a stud on my boots, searched the streets twice for it with my mum, and ended up finding HKD5 that bought us a train ticket back to the hotel... lol
