100% – 0%

I learnt this before I even went for the forum. So the forum didn’t screw with my brain THAT much. That in a relationship, it’s 100% – 0%. Relationships or whachamacallits….

Perhaps if everyone tried it, we’d all be happier. Gone are the expectations, the disappointments etc. Present are the happiness at every small thing you view as a bonus or every small thing you least expect. If we just gave it our all and not expect anything in return, we would just simply be happy.

And if you believe in the “as long as we care, we’ll always hurt, considering they go hand in hand”, there is really no particular time in which you can care and not be vulnerable/hurt by the people you care about. Thus, if the vulnerability and hurt is always there, there is really no avoiding it. So why not just give 100%? After hurting less or more, it still is the same dull ache in your heart, the all too familiar mind-numbing, fist clenching, teeth grinding pain.

Yet, no one ever said we couldn’t or shouldn’t hope. In fact, hope is possibly what keeps us going at what we do all the time. Hope without expectations. That’s probably it.

But yet sometimes, everything sits before us, clear as day. Yet we fear changing the present for fear of the unknown or what we term as the future or even for the fear that history will repeat itself just as we are so sure it will. Yet who is to say all that? You and I, we ain’t God. We’ll never know unless we try, and this applies to most everything in life.

I see the walls. Some of them aren’t mine. Those titanium walls. I realise we are all human afterall. Same same. *smile*

Perhaps beach house with as many dogs as affordable would be perfect.
And yes, you’re right. Everything does always work out fine for us. It’s so fine it gets spooky sometimes.

Perhaps, just perhaps, if each and every one of us just learnt to let nature take its course and believe in Contentment, in the “The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; They just make the most of everything they have.” then we would all be happy. Just plain happy.

Godliness with contentment is great gain. ~ 1 Timothy 6 : 6

Random thought : I love my godmas … They’re plain happy people. That’s probably why they are my godmas. =)

So amazing race? I’m game!! Let’s go! *lol*
